D.C. United

From Marvel on to D.C., I finally got a chance to check out the season premieres of Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow on the CW.  I’ve grown accustomed to binge watching these things, so kind of weird to take it one at a time like this.

I can’t say that I’m blown away by any of the new episodes, although I was certainly entertained.  Watching Arrow I always get this crazy urge to jump into military style training and completely transform my body and lifestyle.  I got as far as throwing some kettlebells around once.  This was gonna be me in like a month…

The urge fades pretty quickly.

I’m not sure I like Oliver Queen as mayor and I really miss the flashbacks to his days as a missing person.  The new show has kept up that theme of flashing back, this time to the aftermath of destruction on Lian Yu.  It will be interesting to see if they can keep that up all season.

Back in Central City, shockingly Flash returns from Speed Force Jail…don’t think anyone could take Cisco and Kid Flash running the show all season long.  I do love that he came back faster than ever.  And I love the new Samurai villain.  It’s cool that Caitlin came back to the good side…sort of.  Kid Flash not so much.

And then there’s the Legends of Tomorrow trying to make their way in the world without time travel.  Sara Lance working in retail, with knives…there’s your highlight.  I’m gonna go watch Psych again.
